Week 3, February 2009

Nothing like brushing your teeth while staring down at Vancouver Harbour. How about a shower (that'll fit you and 10 of your best friends) that also has the same amazing view! This luxurious bathroom is just a small part of the Pacific suite at the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel. The suite is 1650 square feet of luxury, with features including flat screen TV's in almost every room, grand piano in the living room and a $10,000 matress in the bedroom. Although frequented by stars and celebrities, the suite is available to anyone (anyone that can afford the $4095/night rate, that is).

This image was part of shoot for Cambridge Floors, who were quite involved in the renovation of some of the suites at the hotel. In the bathrooms, they supplied and installed the tile floors plus all of the tiles in and around the tubs and showers. See their site at www.cambridgefloors.com

The Recipe: Canon 5D MKII, 17-40/F4 @17mm, 1/60 sec, F5.6, ISO 400.
Lighting: Ambient, plus White Lightning 600
