Week 4, March 2010

"Tis the Season!" As spring is upon us, so is the time for couples "to-be-wed" to start thinking about their engagement sessions. The concept behind engagement sessions is nothing new, I've been doing them for as long as I've been doing weddings. For sure, we're out there to create some fun images but an underlying "agenda" to the session for us to get to know each other, and for the couple to get used to the style of their photographer. This hopefully breaks down any confidence barriers about having their photos taken BEFORE the wedding day.

This image was created as part of session last weekend in Fort Langley, one of my favourite shooting grounds! We were so lucky to have a great morning weather wise. That, combined with a great variety of backgrounds in the area, gave us a very successful session!! (Can't wait to share them with the couple!)

The recipe: Canon 5D, 24-105/f4 L Series lens. ISO 400
